I find myself agreeing with a lot of Terry’s philosophies. I mean he’s doing it all wrong.  If he just bent a little with the studios, he would be making a lot of money and his movies would be a commercial success.  But then he wouldn’t be this crazy old kook who makes beautiful, inspiring, and unique movies.  He wouldn’t be my hero.  

Definitely a huge influence on me.  I haven’t liked everything he’s made, especially recent stuff, but even when I’m not crazy about what he’s doing, I still admire him for doing what he wants and sticking to his vision.

I love 100% of his interviews, though.  Always full of wisdom.
